Guaranteeing the Homotopy Type of a Set Defined by Non-Linear Inequalities

چکیده
This paper provides an effective method to create an abstract simplicial complex homotopy equivalent to a given set S described by non-linear inequalities (polynomial or not). To our knowledge, no other numerical algorithm is able to deal with this type of problem. The proposed approach divides S into subsets that have been proven to be contractible using interval arithmetic. The method is close to Čech cohomology and uses the nerve theorem. Some examples illustrate the principle of the approach. This algorithm has been implemented.

Stability and Performance Attainment with Fixed Order Controller Using Frequency Response
Recently, a new data driven controller synthesis is presented for calculating the family of stabilizing first, second and fixed order controller using frequency respons. However, this method is applicable just for plants that can guarantee some smoothness at the boundary of the resulted high dimension LMI. This paper solve that issue and extends the approach to fixed order controllers guarantee...

Modified homotopy method to solve non-linear integral equations
In this article we decide to define a modified homotopy perturbation for solving non-linear integral equations. Almost, all of the papers that was presented to solve non-linear problems by the homotopy method, they used from two non-linear and linear operators. But we convert a non-linear problem to two suitable non-linear operators also we use from appropriate bases functions such as Legendre ...

A Solution of Riccati Nonlinear Differential Equation using Enhanced Homotopy Perturbation Method (EHPM)
Homotopy Perturbation Method is an effective method to find a solution of a nonlinear differential equation, subjected to a set of boundary condition. In this method a nonlinear and complex differential equation is transformed to series of linear and nonlinear and almost simpler differential equations. These set of equations are then solved secularly. Finally a linear combination of the solutio...
